New to this

Well, here we go. I have never been much for blogging but LOVE to read everyone elses...LOL. I thought to be fair I'd start a blog for others to read. We'll see if I can keep it up to date! Just a warning, life is never boring around here. I hope you enjoy reading about our craziness!

A family blog...What a good idea! You will probably be surprised to learn that, despite all my years on a computer, this is my first blog experience! Just holding true to my nature...I have never been one to "chat" at length on a phone, e-mail, or otherwise. But, hey, I am not too old to learn new tricks!

Your experience with the train sounds great, and renews my interest in taking one! I love adventure! As I am just two sneezes from my 60's, I think going power gliding 6,000 feet over Hawaii last fall was pretty good!

I have thus far gone up in a hot air balloon over Ohio, gone para-sailing over Aruba, hang-gliding over Hawaii, and stood on top of the Swiss Alps. My standard joke now is that in doing all of these things, I am just trying to work my way up to Heaven!
